To: The Upload Managers NWT FrontierNet Imperial College 3-Lib (Via EMail to Steve Litchfield) Here is a new collection of UK Dialing STD code databases for the 3a/3a/(Sienna?), which updates a little bit the STDLON.DBF database that is in some Psion Archives. There are 3 variants, consisting of 3 parts of the database: STD 4465 entry database of UK National Dialing codes LON 764 entry database of London (Inner & Outer) Dialing codes Xcodes 20 entry database of Extra codes, UK Mobile Phone networks and premium rate phoneline STDs etc. They are very usefull for finding dialing codes and for reverse lookups of codes from missed calls that leave caller ID info, you can find out where the call came from geographically. The 3 sections are arranged as 3 seperate .ZIP files: stdlonx.zip STD & LON codes + extra codes - 5250 entries, 148kb londonx.zip LON codes + extra codes - 784 entries, 40kb stdx.zip STD & extra codes only - 4486 entries, 110kb (for people not interested in London codes) These 3 databases compare as follows to the other Psion databases floating around the archives as follows (from FrontierNet): std.zip Database file of STD codes (Much smaller, no London or Mobiles) stdlon.zip Another Database of STD codes (I think I might have uploaded this one, but the new ones replace it). --------------------------------------------------------------------- ___ _ __ __ ___ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ___ __ __ ___ / __>| || \ \| . || \ | | | | || || | | | | || . || \ \/ __> \__ \| || || | || | | | | || || |_ | |_ | || || |\__ \ <___/|_||_|_|_|`___'|_\_| |__/_/ |_||___||___||_||_|_||_|_|_|<___/ Simon Wiiiams EMail: simon.williams@vax.sbu.ac.uk
