ReadCIS is an off-line reader to automate CompuServe access from a Psion Series 3a or 3c pocket computer. ThreeCIS is the script that performs the on-line work. ReadCIS is a different type of program than CompuServe's Information Manager (TM). All reading and writing is done off-line; the user does not press any keys while the script is running. This means the user must decide before starting the script what is to be accomplished during each on-line session. ReadCIS uses terminal emulation to access CompuServe's ASCII interface. ReadCIS cannot use on-line areas that require HMI protocol, and your mailbox must be moved to CompuServe's original Mail system. ThreeCIS SCRIPT Automatic on-line operations... 1. If you need instructions to download or unzip the file on your Series 3a or 3c, read the file UNZIP.TXT, also in CIS:PSION library 18. After unzipping the archive read the file "Readme.txt" which explains how to install the program, and how to move your mailbox to CompuServe's original Mail system so that ReadCIS can access it.
