This update brings Optimize to version 1.0 build 52.

This fixes a problem in earlier version of Optimize that could cause Optimize to refuse to optimize certain Compact Flash Cards and to exit with a "Panic 21" error. No other Essential Disk Utilities components are modified.

Installing the update

  1. Download the above Optimize052.SIS file on your PC or Macintosh.
  2. Make sure Essential Disk Utilities is already installed on your Psion Series 5.
  3. Install the update onto the same drive as your previous Essential Disk Utilities installation, by double-clicking the Optimize052.SIS file on your PC or by using MacConnect on your Macintosh.
