MfolderLite for EPOC Machines

MfolderLite is a freeware add-on application to the Psion Message Suite. It allows the user to archive email messages in specific archive folders, rather than clogging-up the (already busy) inbox.

MfolderLite has the following features :

The ability to archive email messages, either by searching for a title or manual selection from the email folders.
Multiple message archiving to a single archive file.
Quick and easy sorting and filtering of archived messages.
The option to view and/or print archived messages.
The ability to edit archived message header information, or delete archived messages.
Automatic compression of the archive file.
The ability to view the archive categories used in MfolderLite.
The ability to use any standard (unmodified) DATA file as an email address book.
When an email address from the address book is used, a message dialog box is automatically opened, and the user can create and send a message to the outbox.
An Email message summary dialog is now available, listing all messages present in the email application folders.
The facility to refresh the email message list from within MfolderLite, to ensure accurate archiving.

The application is quick and easy to use, and can be left running in the background until
required.

or by clicking on the 'Start bar'...

MViewer for EPOC Machines

MViewer is a freeware viewer for Mfolder and MfolderLite archives created on Psion Series 5 and Geofox One machines. It enables these files to be viewed on EPOC ER5 machines (Psion 5mx, Ericsson M218, Psion Series 7, etc.), as the above mentioned applications are not compatible with these machines.

In all other aspects MViewer functions in exactly the same way as MfolderLite.

Mfolder for EPOC Machines

Mfolder is a freeware add-on application to the Psion Message Suite. It allows the user to archive
email messages in specific archive folders, rather than clogging-up the (already busy) inbox.

Mfolder is was the first EPOC application I ever wrote, and as such is a little 'user unfriendly'. It has been replaced with MfolderLite, and possibly Mfolder 1.20 at a later stage. The newer applications are faster and easier to use, but I have kept Mfolder 1.19 here for old-times-sake :-).

New features for Beta 1.19 :

Application no longer 'crashes' when the D: drive is not present!
On-screen instructions to make selecting an archived message easier.
The ability to switch in and out of the System screen for file management.
It is now possible to view messages by their status (eg. Read, Unread or Sent).
The address book to be used for email message creation is now a user selected Data file. This is selected the first time Mfolder is started.
More graphics improvements - it's getting there! :-)
The archiving process doesn't exit until Ctrl+c or Esc are pressed.

Mfolder has the following general features :

Create Archive folders for your email messages
Archive any email message from the Message Suite.
View or print archived messages from within Mfolder.
View any message from the Message Suite within Mfolder.
View how many messages are currently in the Message Suite, and how many are unread.
Create a new email, which can be sent to the Message Suite Outbox.

The application is quick and easy to use, and can be left running in the background without
grabbing as much of that valuable memory as the Message Suite itself.
