Clock5 v1.4 (22nd October '98) ==================================== This is the 5th main release of Clock5. Clock 5 is a Series 5 / Geofox password-protected screensaver - much like those available for the Mac and Windows. Of course you don't really need a screen saver as such for your Psion / 'fox- why would its screen need saving? With this in mind, I thought it should at least do something useful - like display a large clock perhaps... The idea is based largely on Dan Comiskey's 'Clock' program for the 3a/c. There are quite a number of enhancements planned for future releases so visit Pscience5 at:- http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/martin_guthrie ocassionally to check for updates and more details. Installation ============ There are 8 files to install (plus the optional voice files):- Clock5.app Clock5.aif Clock5.mbm Clock5.hlp ReadMe.txt (this file) Changes.txt (changes since the last release) SysRam1.opx (Psion's opx file) Systinfo.sis (RMR's opx file) Voice.zip (Zip file containing the voice files - see Help file for details) Make a directory called 'Clock5' on your Series 5 / 'fox at System/Apps/Clock5 (on either your C or D drive) and copy the first 6 files into it. Now create a directory called "Voice" within your "Clock5" directory and un-zip Voice.zip into it. There should now be 28 voice recordings in it. SysRam1.opx should be copied to either c:\system\opx or d:\system\opx. Systinfo.sis can be installed on your machine either by using Psion's EPOC install program (as supplied with PsiWin 2.1) or by using the Add/Remove icon in your Psion's control panel if you've got (say) Message Suite already installed on your machine. If the latter, just copy the Systinfo.sis file onto your Psion and either find it using the Add/Remove icon in your Psion's control panel or just double-click on it to auto-run the install routine. NB: If you don't install SysRam1 or Systinfo onto your machine, Clock5 will not work. The Clock5 icon should now have appeared in your Extras bar ready to run.
