YARTSIE 1.25 - FULL VERSION CONTENTS 1) Installing Yartsie Version 1.25 2) Any Problems, Suggestions or Requests 3) Un-installing Yartsie 1) Installing Yartsie Version 1.25 Important: If you have version 1.20 of Yartsie already installed, you need the upgrade instead of this version. To install Yartsie on to your Series 5 or Geofox, you need to get all the files from the ZIP file and onto your Palmtop. This is usually done using PsiWin however if you are not using a PC contact me at the address in section 2 and I will help in any way I can. Keep all the files together on the palmtop and then simply run the !Install.opo file by selecting it twice with the pointer. You will be asked which drive you would like to install Yartsie on and then you can sit back as all the files are moved to the correct places. You can then delete the remaining files ( these help texts and the installer ) as you will no longer need them. 2) Any Problems, Suggestions or Requests If you have any problems installing or using Yartsie or if you find any bugs ( as far as I know, there are now none ) or if you have any suggestions or requests send them to me at: E-MAIL: mick.jagger@palmscape.com SNAIL MAIL: Palmscape Yartsie Support 182 Bromham Road Bedford, Bedfordshire MK40 4BP England, Europe I do pay attention to all requests and suggestions, for example I added the darker dice spots and left-handed options at the requests of other Yartsie users, so don't be afraid to ask. 3) Un-installing Yartsie If you decide to remove Yartsie from your palmtop ( not a very likely possibility ) you need to access the system folder of the drive that you installed Yartsie on. On the system screen, press Ctrl+K to open the Preferences window and ensure that the Show System Folder option is ticked. Now locate and open the System folder, inside you will find another folder named Apps - open this also. Inside the Apps folder there will be a folder named Yartsie, open this and inside you will find another folder and 7 files. If you plan to replace Yartsie at a later date, you should take a copy of these two files - Yartsie.INI and Player.DAT, when you re-install Yartsie later you can replace these files and your high scores and player information will be preserved. Close the Yartsie folder and then delete it and all it's contents. Yartsie is now un-installed. Traitor.
