Readme: Mfolder for the Psion Series 5 ------------------------------------------------------ Mfolder is an 'add-on' for the Message Suite application, specifically concerned with the Email facility. The application allows the following: - creation of archive folders, to store email messages - the archiving of email messages from all folders within the Message Suite - the viewing and/or printing of archived messages. - the ability to view messages in any of the Message Suite folders. - the ability to create new messages, using an address book for email addresses or address lists. Mfolder includes a comprehensive help file which should explain all the details of what the application can and cannot do. Installation: ---------------- The application can be installed on either the C: or D: drive, in the following folders. Apart from this file, the zip file contains the following: Message.OPX Buffer1.OPX (Put both in the C:\System\opx) Message.OXH Buffer.OXH (Put both in C:\System\opl) icon.mbm scroll.mbm Mfolder.hlp Mfolder.aif Mfolder.app (Put all in a new folder C: or D:\System\Apps\Mfolder) Using Mfolder: -------------- When you first open Mfolder you will be asked for a default archive directory and 'Data' file for an email address book. You can simply use Esc to avoid the default archive until you have created your archives, but it is recommended that you select the address book before creating any new emails. Similarly, the first time the Archiving procedure is used a dialog box appears, providing basic instructions. By leaving the checkbox 'ticked' the dialog box can be avoided during all future archiving procedures. Special Comments for Version 1.16 and higher: --------------------------------------------- If you are using Beta Version 1.15 or a lower version, you MUST delete all application files and reinstall. These files are : icon.mbm / scroll.mbm / Mfolder.hlp / Mfolder.app / Mfolder.aif The OPX / OXH files DO NOT need to be replaced.
