This is Version 1.17 of XTM.

These release notes are provided to give late breaking
information and upgrade guidelines for XTM.  If you
are installing XTM for the first time, you MUST READ
THE MANUAL (manual.pdf - an Adobe Acrobat file) because
these notes do NOT tell you how to get started!

1. Upgrading to Version 1.17 from an earlier release

If you have used an earlier XTM any disk images you have
created will work under Version 1.17.  Performing an
install from your PC using the SIS file will update the
emulator.

2. Changes from Version 1.15 or 1.16 to Version 1.17

* Font zooming added for text screens.

* Minor CPU performance improvements.

* There are no material differences between Version 1.15
  and Version 1.16.

3. Changes from Version 1.14 to Version 1.15

* IrDA connections are correctly reinstated after the
  link has been lost.

* Several COM port changes increase performance and
  application compatibility.

* A work-around for bugs in netBook parity handling
  is included.

4. Changes from Version 1.12 to Version 1.13 or 1.14

* There are no material changes between 1.13 and 1.14.

* Version 1.13 has minor changes in BIOS behaviour for
  clock setting.

5. Changes from Version 1.11 to Version 1.12

* Version 1.12 corrects an incompatibility between the
  EPOCFS server and DR-DOS which caused file output
  operations to fail (typically indicating Disk Full).

6. Known Restrictions

* Because of bugs with their EPOC device driver, PC Card
  ports are not currently available from XTM on the Psion
  Series 7 or netBook.

* The EPOCFS file server interface does not reset all its
  parameters when XTM reboots, leading to spurious error
  messages when some redirections are re-established.
