Memory Status utility for Win95 Beta 2 by Mark Gamber This utility displays the current memory status of Windows 95 including the total and available physical RAM, total and available paging memory, total and available virtual memory and free system resources. To use the program, copy MSTAT32.EXE, MSTAT32D.DLL and MSTAT16.DLL to a common directory and start the main application, MSTAT32.EXE. When first started, all available memory options are displayed. You may remove unimportant data by selecting the line to be removed in the list and selecting the "Remove" button. Any removed items may later be added by selecting the "Add" button, choosing an item and selecting "OK". "Options" allows you to keep the window topmost, display the current resource values as a taskbar icon and hide the main window buttons. Select each option according to your needs. If "Display Resources in Tray" is checked, a small icon appears near the clock with two numbers displayed. The top number is the percentage of free USER resources, the bottom number is the percentage of free GDI (graphical) resources. Unchecking the item and closing the program remove this icon. By using this program, the user acknowledges full responsibility for it's use and cannot hold the author liable for any loss or damage. If this restriction is not acceptable, the software should be destroyed immediately. The program and any included parts are freely distributable.
