A collection of documents of whatever format - descriptions, clipart, sounds, user manuals, etc.

‘Lost & Found’ - Documents

File Description
Alarm Sounds (425KB) All the alarm sounds that used to be available from Psion at 5mx.com before it disappeared. 34 sound files.
Animated Psion Logo (6KB) This animated logo very nicely demonstrates how Psion created the hieroglyphs used in their brand logo - a little bit of fun! Image grabbed from a discussion on the PDAStreet forum.
Clip5Art.zip (206KB) A collection of monochrome clipart in Sketch format. Categories include: Everyday, Faces/Animals/Charactertures, PC, Shapes & Pattern, Signs & Symbols, and Work.
Comms.zip (183KB) The user manual for the Comms application. Zip file contains manual in 3 formats: EPOC Word, RTF, and PDF.
JavaDocs.zip (217KB) A couple of documents from the PsiWin CD - one which describes EPOC's Java implimentation and a User Manual for Java on a Psion.
K2 files... A small collection of K2 files. A download of the K2 application itself is available on the ‘Lost & Found - Applications’ page. If you've got any K2 files that you feel are useful then please send them in and I'll add them to the collection.
MC218 Reference Information (764KB) This a reference file (or, perhaps, a small book - it's 113 pages!) released in 1999 by Ericsson about the MC 218. It's since disappeared from their website.
OPL Manual (666KB) Psion's manual for OPL in MS Word format. Split by individual chapters.
Presentation Maker User Guide (1.7MB) Somsak Chayapong very kindly scanned in a copy of the User Manual for Psion's Presentation Maker. Here it is in zipped PDF format.
Programming Psion Computers (2.4MB) EMCC (http://www.emccsoft.com) used to write SiBO and EPOC software and published a book called Programming Psion Computers. They now offer a PDF version of the book for free on their site - and here's a copy here also.
PsionLX.pdf (345KB) This is the pre-release version of the PsionLX brochure that was due to be published with the machine's release. Fascinating to see what could have been - and so very nearly was! Makes me wanna cry into my beer!
Revo-DIY.pdf (215KB) If I recall correctly, this set of instructions on how to make your own revo (!) was published by Psion USA shortly after the revo was announced and demand was (temporarily) outstripping supply. Have fun!
SDictionary files... A collection of multiple/cross-platform SDictionary (.dct) files that work with Alexey Semenov's SDict program on the Psion platform. If you have any .dct files that you would like to contribute, please email them to me (preferably compressed) and I'll be glad to add them to the page.
Tomeraider files... A small collection of Tomeraider files. Not 'Lost' - but these are files that I keep permanently on my netBook because I've found them so useful - but if you've got any that you feel are equally useful then please send them in and I'll add them to the collection.
